Roy Lake Resort
is located on Roy Lake,
half way in-between Britton & Sisseton on South Dakota Highway 10.
Roy Lake
is a 2500 acre Glacial
Lake that boasts excellent
fishing for Walleye, Bass, Northern and Pan Fish. It is also located anywhere
from 5 to 20 minutes from 48 other Glacial Lakes of various sizes which are primarily
multi-species fishing lakes.
First ice is generally anywhere from
Thanksgiving to the first of January and generally late ice is the first of
April. Always call for ice and/or snow conditions. We would like you to call because the
elevation of the lake is higher than any other and our conditions are usually
different from Sisseton, Britton, Aberdeen or Fargo.
We do offer off-season rates and the
accommodations that we have to offer at Roy Lake Resort are considered the
nicest and best in Eastern South Dakota
and WE all keep on making it better.
Resort amenities include a restaurant, grocery store and bait shop
that are open from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. so that you can get your bait,
maps, soda & beer as well as breakfasts to go. (When you check-in you might be able to see if
they can accommodate an earlier breakfast if you intend to go out on the ice
earlier.)
In addition the resort facility offers a fish cleaning room that is
open during operating hours.
If there is anything
else we can do for you please let us know as we try to accommodate our
guests with the best of SERVICE and QUALITY.
