Fall & Winter Turkey Hunting

Turkey Hunting goes on until the end of January.  If you are interested give us a call.  The 3rd picture down is Gary and Scott Turkey Hunting.  Pretty nice turkeys….the birds not the guys.

ICE FISHING

Enjoy the fishing pictures that I am enclosing of ice fishing this winter.  We have had blizzards, we have had snow, but now it is starting to look really nice for at least the next week.  But Ice Fishermen don’t care how bad the weather is.  Ask In-Fisherman’s Chip Lear.  They wanted to stay out on the ice longer, but with the blizzard going on all day, Gary had to call it quits because we didn’t know how much drifting we would be going thru. Too bad we don’t have their pictures, but you will be able to see their trip here next winter on Fox Sports North.  Check them out this year along with In-Depth Angling, Jason Mitchell Outdoors for programs also on Fox Sports North on Sunday Mornings.

Check out In-depth Angling’s pictures also.  Pretty awesome fish.  But the truth is we have had our share of weather systems going thru.  But we always managed to find a bite with the crappie bite being the most consistent.

We have great ice, and a lot of areas, you should have a snowmobile to get thru some of the drifts. As the weather settles down, the snow should start settling down too. There is a good fishing bite, but if you haven’t ice fished up here I would really suggest using Gary.  It really shortens the learning curve.

Hope you give us a call and get some ice fishing in before the season is over.

Thanks for the update Jan! You have great accommodations and we always enjoy your resort and company.

Fishing has been a bit tougher this year with the snow depths and weather patterns. However if a person puts in their time and works a bit, it can be very rewarding.

We have had another great year fishing the glacial lakes and landed a number of trophy fish through the ice!

Gary & Scott are a wealth of knowledge and all around great people! If you are new to the area or struggling I would highly recommend their services!

We will be taking our 5th trip out this year and look forward to the improved conditions.

Thanks again and we will see you next week!
